This year’s festival is wristband-free: your digital ticket will be scanned each day upon arrival. No wristband will be applied at the entrance.
Re-entry is only possible with a special re-entry wristband you can get on site.
General
What are the opening hours and address?
Thursday 18.00-01.00, Friday 18.00-04.00 and Saturday: 18.00-03.00. Music will play all the hours. Address is Refshalevej 183, 1432 Copenhagen.
How do I get to the festival?
We recommend taking a bike. We have made a special bike and walking path at Refshalevej.
You can also use public transportation: Bus 2A at the stop “Refshaleøen” and the harbour bus at the stop “Refshaleøen”.
Arrive early, and remember that parking at the site is not possible.
Do you have a festival app?
Yes, you can download our app from the App Store and Google Play here.
Where do I find the timetable?
You can find the timetable here and in our app.
What type of music will there be?
All days will consist of house, disco, techno, trance and bass music. You can find more information about the different artists here.
Can I pick up my wristband before the festival?
This year’s festival is wristband-free: your digital ticket will be scanned each day upon arrival. No wristband will be applied at the entrance.
Can I join the festival when I have mobility impairment and use a wheelchair?
Yes, but you need to bring a companion and be prepared for a rough ride. Most of the surface is grass or wood chips and it can be muddy. Unfortunately there will not be raised viewing spots for mobility impairment.
The companion ticket is free, but a ticket fee of 20 DKK per ticket applies. If you have a partout or weekend pass and wish to bring different companions on different days, you must instead order companion tickets per day.
Companion tickets can only be redeemed together with the original ticket upon presentation of a companion card. Tickets can be purchased by contacting Ticketmaster Customer Service at +45 38481633.
Can I volunteer at the festival?

What will there be on site?
3 music stages, a vintage carousel ride, nice bars and food stands, the witch cave, performances, bonfire, free water stations, merchandise and info stand and much more.
Where can I find a map of the festival?
You can find a map of the festival here and in our app.
What is the re-entry policy?
If you want to go in and out of the festival area, you’ll need to pick up a re-entry wristband at the Re-entry booth before leaving the festival.
The re-entry wristband is only valid on the same day.
Can I bring food and drink to the festival?
Only empty plastic bottles, snacks and fruits are allowed inside.
Can I bring a backpack, bag and/or a trolley?
Only backpacks and soft case bags no bigger than 25x40 cm are allowed. Trolleys and hard case bags are not allowed.
Can I bring a camera or video camera?
Only small compact cameras are allowed. You can't bring a professional SLR camera, video camera, camera stand, lenses, and selfie sticks.
Can I bring an umbrella?
Unfortunately, it is not possible to bring an umbrella.
Will there be lockers on site?
There will be a limited number of lockers available inside the festival. Locker size: 30 cm x 22 cm x 38 cm
Includes USB ports (2x USB A, 1x USB C – you need to bring your own cable). Price is 90dkk per day.

Can I bring my pet to the festival?
Unfortunately it’s not possible to bring your pet to the festival.

Nearby the west toilet area and Hangaren. You can see it on the map here.
If I feel unsafe, who can I talk to and where do I go?
You should reach out to our Awareness Team – ask any festival staff and they will guide you to the Awareness Team.
Karrusel welcomes everybody – all with their different orientations, experiences, histories and backgrounds. We believe in the right of everyone to express themselves. Karrusel only exists if everyone takes care of each other, respects their own and others boundaries, embraces diversity and acts as a part of the community.
Take responsibility for your own actions. Respect your own and others boundaries. Speak up rather than look the other way.
What is your drug policy?
It's not allowed to do drugs at Karrusel. If you or someone feels bad, go to the First Aid and Awareness Team tent and they will assist you. They are experienced and will provide advice about drugs, alcohol, legal highs for anything that is troubling you in full confidentiality. First Aid and Awareness Team tents are located next to the west toilets area and Hangaren. Ask any festival staff and they will guide you.
Will there be vegetarian and vegan food options?
Yes.
Is there free water on site?
Yes, we have water stations where you can refill your bottle as much as you like.
Will there be non-alcoholic beverages?
There is a varied selection of drinks and beers including mocktails, non-alcoholic beers, sodas, energy drinks and electrolyte drinks. There is free drinking water station at the festival. Feel free to bring your own empty plastic bottle to the festival.
How do I pay on site?
We accept contactless credit cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay. We don’t accept cash and MobilePay.
Will there be a deposit system on the cups?
5 kr. cup fee is applied to each drink purchased on site. So you can bring your used cup to the bar and exchange it for a new one when you get a drink. Exchanges are ONLY 1:1 – which means if you buy one drink, you can bring one used cup and get the fee deducted, and if you want to buy two drinks, you can bring two used cups, etc…
I have lost something, where can I get it?
If you have lost an item at the festival, please send us a request here.
Can I take photos and videos with my phone?
We encourage everyone to stay in the moment and keep the use of phones and cameras to a minimum without disturbing other guests.
How can I help the festival to be as sustainable as possible?
Sorting your trash at the trash stations.
Not bringing confetti and glitter.
Bring your own water bottle or buy one at our bars and take advantage of our free drinking water stations.
Don’t throw your cigarette buds on the ground, please use a trash can or a pocket ashtray.
Don’t print your ticket or timetable, but download it to your phone.
Take a bike or public transport to the festival.
Karrusel is committed to becoming more sustainable. In order to save resources and reduce waste we use left over materials and timber for stage designs and installations. We will re-use production and print materials when possible year after year. All cups are made from recycled plastic and are collected to be used again in another form.
Tickets
Where can I buy tickets?
You can find our different offers here. Tickets are available at Ticketmaster. If tickets are offered on other platforms, they are not valid. You can’t buy tickets at the entrance, you have to buy them online.
What is the age limit?
18 years.
What can I do if I’m experiencing an issue in the purchase process?
We recommend clearing the cache and deleting cookies. If this doesn’t help, please contact Ticketmaster.
Can I upgrade my ticket?
Please mail us at info@nusnus.dk with your request and with your existing order number and we may be able to help you out. Thanks for the interest!
Is there a ticket fee on top?
Yes, Ticketmaster will add fees on top of the ticket value. Fees are 30 DKK for handling and administration. Sorry for the inconvenience.
How do I exchange my PDF ticket for a wristband?
This year’s festival is wristband-free: your digital ticket will be scanned from the Ticketmaster app each day upon arrival. No wristband will be applied at the entrance.
Re-entry on the same day is only possible with a special re-entry wristband you can get at the Re-entry booth before leaving the area.
Can I buy a ticket at the festival entrance on the showday?
You can’t buy tickets at the entrance, you have to buy them online.
Can I enter the festival all night?
Yes, doors will be open for entry all night.
Do I need to bring my ID?
Yes, you might need an ID to verify your age (passport, health card, driver’s license,…).
Can I redeem a ticket for my friend?
No, because the festival is wristband-free. Your ticket is scanned as you enter the festival.
Can I bring my companion?
Yes, but the companion will need a ticket (free, but a ticket fee of 20 DKK per ticket applies). If you have a partout or weekend pass and wish to bring different companions on different days, you must instead order companion tickets per day.

Can I re-sell or give away my ticket?
Yes, you can do so because your ticket is not personal. We recommend using the official Ticketmaster Resale function. But do not overcharge for the ticket, that's very uncool and illegal.
Can I buy a ticket from a third party?
Yes, as tickets are not personal. However, beware of scammers and fake tickets. Avoid buying tickets from strangers on social media. For our sold-out events, we recommend using the official Ticketmaster Resale function.
Can I transfer my ticket to a friend?
Yes, you can do so in the Ticketmaster app in the ticket transfer section. Note that your friend will need to have a Ticketmaster account to get the ticket.
Can I get my ticket refunded if I can't go anyway?
Only if you bought a ticket insurance. Otherwise you can give your ticket away or sell it to others, as it is not personal. Remember, it’s not legal to overcharge for the ticket.
