FAQ

  • How to contact lost and found? Please email info@nusnus.dk and describe your lost item as precise as possible. If we find it you can pick it up at our office on Refshaleøen. From 13 September all remaining lost items will be handed over to Københavns Politi Hittegodskontoret.

  • Is there an age limit? Yes, minimum age is 18 years.

  • What is the address? Refshalevej 185, 1432 Copenhagen.

  • Where can I buy a ticket? We urge everybody to buy online at our official ticket partner Ticketmaster. Buying on the day at the festival entrance is more expensive and you risk the it’s sold out. If you’re looking for a package deal with accomodation on top our official partner Festicket has great offers.

  • How do I get to the festival site? Please use a bike or 9A public bus (nearest bus stop “Refshaleøen”). There’s a Bycyken docking station next to the entrance.

  • What are the opening hours? Both days from 16.00-04.00.

  • How do I exchange my PDF ticket to a wristband? Go to the ticket office at the entrance.

  • Do I need to print my PDF ticket? No. We can scan it from your phone.

  • Do I need my ID? Yes, you need to be able to show ID to verify your age.

  • Is my ticket personal? No, your ticket is not personal, so the name on ticket does not need to match your name.

  • Who organize Karrusel? Nus/Nus ApS organize the event. Nus/Nus ApS is owned by the not-for-profit foundation Fonden Distortion København. Nus/Nus is the team behind the annual Distortion music festival.

  • What if the festival is cancelled? All ticket buyers will get the ticket price refunded excluding ticket fees.

  • Can I volunteer at the festival? Yes. Please go to the Volunteer page to sign up.

At the festival

  • If I need help, how do I find a festival official? There will be officials on all stages, at the entrance and they will also be probing the festival area.

  • Where is first aid located? Location to come very soon.

  • Can I use cash at the festival? Karrusel is cashfree. But at the ticket office you can pay with cash and buy cashcards that can be used in all bar and food places.

  • How do I pay at the festival? All places accept both Danish and international cards and MobilePay.

  • Where do I find a timetable? There are timetables on the stages and you can download the timetable right here.

  • Will there be lockers? Yes. Find location here on the festival map. Bonus: There is a phone charger inside each locker :)

  • Is there a drinking water station? Yes, and its free ofcourse. Find it here on the festival map. Bring your own water bottle or buy one in the bar.

  • Will there be vegetarian and vegan food options? Yes.

  • Will there be normal water flusing toilets? Yes.

  • Can I charge my phone? Yes. There is a phone charger inside each locker. Find location for lockers ere on the festival map.

  • Where is lost and found? At the ticket office during festival days. After the festival please email info@nusnus.dk and describe your lost item as precise as possible. From 13 September all remaining lost items will be handed over to Københavns Politi Hittegodskontoret.

  • What stuff can’t I bring to the fesitval? No beverage, except bottles of water. No backpacks, heavy bags and suitcases. No tents, flags, chairs and like.

  • Is the festival environmentally sustainable? We do our best to be as green as possible. All trash will be sorted, all beverages are served in reusable cups, almost all bevarage products are organic, no straws are used, we use organic crew t-shirts, wristbands and totebags are made in eco friendly materials and we try to limit the use of stuff that cannot be re-used (like banners, confetti).   • How can I help the festival to be as sustainable as possible?

    • Sorting your trash at the trash stations.

    • Not bringing confetti and glitter.

    • Bring your own water bottle or buy one at our bars and take advantage of our free drinking water station.

    • Use the pocket ashtray (you’ll be offered one when you get your wristband).

    • Don’t print your ticket or timetable, but download it to your phone.

    • Take a bike or public transport to the festival please.
